The "Return to the Depths" project is now completed. After a long, 6 year absence from freediving, I came back determined to reset the world record in the Limited Variable Ballast category, which I consider the most challenging and spectacular of the sport. I both, succeeded and failed, in this endeavor. more

Advanced Freediver Course completed
We have just finished the Advanced Freediver Course that ran from May 13 to 17 here in Kas. It was the first course both Rudi and I have taught in several years, and it felt great to be back in the classroom and the water sharing our passion with our fellow divers. It was also important for me to get back in the water, diving again, after the accident during the 125 meter record attempt. I felt good and relaxed, and although I dove to very shallow depths, I also felt fit and healthy.
